I'm a microscopist experienced in the arts of SEM, TEM, AFM, ultramicrotomy, and other microscopies inluding confocal, phase, DIC, brightfield, and fluorescence. Currently, I work in academia and practice scientific imaging in the medical and life science fields. Most of the images you see here were produced outside of work and at my own expense. I've been described as quirky, eclectic, adventurous, gentlemanly and a renaissance man. I love cheesecake, despise ballpoint pens, and think whomever invented the air duster is a freakin' genius.
